Happy Tuesday to you darlings! A while back (when I was first starting this lovely hobby of product reviewing), I wrote a review for a Dead Sea Mud Mask from Era Organics. (You can read that here). Well, today I'm back with another Dead Sea Mud Mask, along with their Microdermabrasion Face Scrub!
Ingredients ~ Dead Sea Mud, Organic Green Tea, Kaolin Clay, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Aspen Bark, Non-GMO Xanthan Gum, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Arnica Oil, Manuka Honey, Organic Hemp Oil,Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol)
Directions ~ Cleanse skin before use for best results. Apply evenly to clean, dry skin. Allow to dry for 10-15 minutes and remove with warm water. Use with dry hands to avoid jar contamination. Tingling may occur. Test a sample on unaffected area to avoid allergies. Do not use on open wounds. Test small sample area first to check for any potential allergies. None of the statements in our listing has been evaluated by the FDA.
For starters, it has a lovely fragrance. The smell of pink grapefruit adds a sweet touch, while the scent of mint makes you feel refreshed. What I love most about this mask is that I know it's ingredients are safe and healthy for my skin. I love the added Coconut oil, Shea Butter, Green Tea, etc. When I first applied the mask, it was a bit tingly, but after many uses, the tingly feeling went away completely. I like to leave the mask on for the full 15 minutes. Afterwards, I wash it off with warm water and complete my facial routine. I've noticed that it has helped with red blemishes and acne, while leaving my face exfoliated and smooth. I love everything about it, and highly recommend to those who are looking for a healthy, high quality facial mask!
Ingredients ~ Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, emulsifying wax, Behentrimonium Methosulphate ( naturally derived from rapeseed oil), Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Panthenol (Vit B5), PPGÂ3 Caprylyl Ether, Leptospermum Scoparium (Manuka) Mel, Lecithin, Oat Amino Protein, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Centipeda Cunninghamii (Cehami), Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 80
Directions ~ No microdermabrasion machine needed. Use 2-3 times a week, gently massage over the skin for 1-2 minutes and rinse. To use as an anti aging mask, apply to dry skin and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and see your physician.
I would say that the scent that is most strong in this scrub is the walnut because the smell is not super sweet. What I enjoy most about this scrub is its combination ability. (Combination ability? What??) Yes! You can use this as a scrub and/or a mask! If you wish to use it as a scrub, gently massage over the skin for 1-2 minutes and rinse. If you wish to use it as an anti aging mask, apply to dry skin and leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse. I think it does a wonderful job at exfoliating my skin and leaving it smooth, while also helping with dark spots! There is something so satisfying about exfoliating your face...it just feels amazing to remove the dead skin and feel refreshed. I would also recommend this mask as well (especially if you're someone who is looking for more of an exfoliator)!
Overall, both of these scrubs are great additions to any beauty routine. Each mask offers its own unique abilities but both leave your skin feeling better than before. I love that Era Organics incorporates healthy ingredients into their products (some of which I could find in my own home)! Be sure to check out their website...you just might find something you love!
