Happy Sunday to all of you! I have the February Lip Monthly bag to share with all of you today and I'm so excited to do so! For those of you who aren't aware of Lip Monthly, they are a subscription service that sends you 4-5 FULL sized lip products to your door each month, for only $12.95/month or $155.95/year! You even get to keep the cute, little pouch that your products come in.
First in the February bag, you'll find this gorgeous Model Co Lipstick in the shade, "Kitty". I really enjoy the outer, modern look of the tube. The pink band going across the bottom is the actual color of the lipstick inside. This is a light pink, cream lip color. There's even a faint, sweet scent (which is a nice added touch, although I don't know whether or not that was on purpose, as there is no indication of a scent on the lipstick label). I found it to be long lasting and the subtle shade makes it the perfect daytime lipstick!
Next on the list is the "Gold Digger" Cosmoholic Gloss. I enjoy the outer tube of this gloss as well. The square shape is comfortable in my hand and there's even a miniature mirror on the back of the gloss for application (how sweet!). "Gold Digger" comes with an applicator and the scent somewhat reminds me of cocoa butter mixed with vanilla. Overall, I think the look that is created with this gloss is beautiful! It's great for use on its own for lots of gold colored shimmer, or as a top coat for a finishing touch on lipstick.
The Matte as Hell Poison Ivy Crayon Lipstick from Sugar Cosmetics is the perfect lipstick for achieving a dramatic look. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I'm a sucker for a gorgeous red lip. What I like most about Poison Ivy is not only that it hydrates and softens my lips, but the shade is absolutely beautiful! It's a deep colored red that applies like a cream lipstick, then settles as a matte lipstick. I've always preferred matte over cream because it has a tendency to last longer.
Finally, we have the Cargo Eye Shadow in the shade "Mojave" and I love this shadow for more reasons than one! For starters, it comes in a single tin which makes it perfect for throwing in your purse when you're on the go. Also, the shade is an Amber Gold Shimmer, which is great for a natural look. I've always leaned toward browns/neutrals because my eye color is brown and I just think that earth/natural toned colored shadows look best with my eyes. So I was more than happy to wear this shade! The shadow is quite pigmented, so a little goes a long way. Also, application is smooth and simple. Love!
