TGIF! What better way to kick off the weekend than by reviewing some lovely products from Pixi by Petra? Pixi Beauty is a company that sells an array of beauty and skincare products. What I like most about the products is not only their quality, but their reasonable price. This makeup is definitely for the everyday woman and she can afford it too!
I cannot stress how much I love, love, love the ItsEyeTime palette! The colors remind me of a sunset collection (a few of the shades remind me of terracotta orange, which I adore). The lighter colors are great for the lid, while the darker shades are perfect for your crease and contour of the eye. I do love the glittery highlight shades - especially snowflake! They're simple to apply, quite pigmented in color and are easy to blend, which makes them perfect for day or night! I adore the ItsLipTime collection as well. The shades vary from peach/light pink to dark pink & reds. Since they are creme based, they apply to the lip quite easily. Some of the colors are less pigmented than others, but overall it's a well balanced palette that has colors that appeal to everyone. I like the lighter pink's for a daytime look and the darker pinks & reds for night time. Beautiful colors!
I love both of the Strobe & Bronze and Strobe & Sculpt Palettes! They are absolutely beautiful and each contain three highlights as well as three bronze shades. The Strobe & Bronze is my favorite of the two. I like to combine the shades of City Kitty and Stauesque to create the perfect bronze shade for myself. The highlighters are gorgeous as well! All of the shades from both palettes are pigmented and last all day. Of course, it is always best to use primer & finishing powder to hold everything into place, but overall I absolutely love both Strobe & Bronze and Strobe & Sculpt! I use the Strobe & Sculpt Brush to apply my highlighter and bronzer and it truly works wonders! The thinner end of the brush is better for applying highlighter to the cheekbones, while the fatter end is better for applying your bronzer/contour and buff using circular motions to blend everything in. It's a great brush!
The glow-y powders have officially become my new obsession. They provide serious glow - I am not kidding! The highlight is ridiculous (in an amazingly awesome way) and it lasts all day. I like the different varieties in colors, as there is something for everyone. My favorite is London Lustre (the lightest of the three highlights), I find myself using it everyday. All three are must-haves for your makeup bags. The lower lash mascara and brow tamer come together in a duo set. Am I the only one who wasn't aware that lower lash mascara even existed? I've only ever bought one mascara at a time and used it for both my upper and lower lashes. When I discovered lower lash mascara through Pixi Beauty, I was in shock! I'm extremely happy to be able to review this product, as it has completely turned my mascara game around! After using it, I will only buy lower lash mascara for my lower lashes! The applicator brush is even made smaller to better apply the mascara, and it left my lashes full without clumping! The brow tamer is my next favorite. As someone with thicker eyebrows, it's a necessity to keep those hairs in place! After using this gel, my brows stayed in their shape from morning until night! Thank you Pixi!
I love this two-in-one double cleanse combo. The solid cleansing oil removes makeup and/or sunscreen & the luxe cleansing cream cleanses the skin, prepping it for the next steps in your regime. You are supposed to use this in the PM on a daily basis for removing makeup & then cleansing the skin. I think this is wonderful for those who have dry skin, as it provides the skin with different vitamins, including Vitamin C & Vitamin E. It also contains different oils which have healing properties for the skin. A great addition to your night time routine!
Overall, I'm so impressed with Pixi once again. Their products are for the everyday woman & they make me feel beautiful every time. The products are so reasonable and high quality - I highly recommend them to any woman who is looking for amazing beauty products that she can afford.
