Writing reviews on fabulous beauty products is always one of my favorite things to do. That's why I'm excited to be sharing two beauty items from Cougar Beauty! Cougar Beauty is a company based in the UK that sells cruelty-free beauty products that are never tested on animals and even come in recyclable packaging!

Today I'll be telling you about the Bee Venom Purifying Face Mask and the Hyaluronic Acid Facial Oil with Dragon Fruit.

Bee Venom Purifying Face Mask

Directions ~ Apply to thoroughly cleansed skin avoiding eye area. Leave for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water. Use once or twice a week. Follow with Cougar serum and/or moisturizer. Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to bee stings.

"Facial Masks help draw out impurities from the skin and eliminate dead cells. Bee Venom is an active ingredient which works to diminish fine lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface. Once applied, Bee venom (otherwise known as toxin melittin) tricks the skin, increasing blood circulation and also stimulating production of natural collagen and elastin, therefore resulting in a plumper, smoother appearance."

I followed the instructions and thoroughly cleansed my face. I had never used any beauty products that contained bee venom before, so I did not know what to expect. I prepared myself for possibly burning and/or tingling, but I did not feel a thing at all! My face experienced some redness as I was rubbing the mask onto my skin, but that faded away in about 30 seconds. After five minutes, I rinsed off the mask with warm water. I've only used this mask a couple of times but skin already feels more smooth and tight. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and overall I think it's a great mask!

Hylauronic Acid Facial Oil with Dragon Fruit

Directions ~ Massage 2-3 drops on a cleansed face and neck, morning and night.

"Dragons fruit has been found to not only offer health benefits when ingested, but offer the skin a variety of benefits too. Dragon fruit is a rich source of antioxidants. It helps fight the free radicals which damage the skin daily, therefore slowing down the aging process. Dragons fruit is filled with Vitamin C, which is perfect for skin repairing and soothing irritation and inflammation of the skin. This can help clear up skin infections such as Acne. Hyaluronic is a substance occurring naturally in the human body that can bind a large amount of moisture (up to 1000 times its own weight). Water and Hyaluron are the two most important substances filling our connective tissue."

After I wash off my Bee Venom Facial Mask, I like to apply this facial oil. I like to apply a little more than 2-3 drops (usually 3-4) because I believe it provides me with better coverage for my entire face. I love the smell! Due to the Dragon Fruit, its scent is incredibly sweet and fruity, very pleasant and relaxing. After soaking into my skin, my face feels extremely soft. It's also helping to clear up little blemishes on my face which I really appreciate. Love this one!

Overall, I loved these products from Cougar Beauty. I think it's awesome how they incorporate natural and healthy ingredients into their products. It's always better to buy from companies that care about not only their customers, but their environment too.
