Hello everyone! I would like to begin by saying that I am glad to be back after a long hiatus. I hope you are all doing well and are ready to continue on my journey with me!
Today I will be sharing with you some nail polish that SquareHue was gracious enough to send to me! For those of you who have not heard of SquareHue - they are a nail polish subscription box that will send you beautiful polishes to your door each month. They ensure that their nail polish sticks to the "7-free" formula - meaning they do not contain Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resins, Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide or Xylene. They're also vegan and not tested on animals! But best of all, portions of the money received for each box is donated to different causes, such as human trafficking and prevention awareness! You can learn more about this cause on their website, here.
The box that I received was from their Adventure Collection (Gondola Venice). It contained three different polishes - Santa Maria del Giglio, Campo San Moisé and Canal Grande.

Santa Maria del Giglio (High Gloss Creme) - The first thing that I noticed about the color of this polish was the earthy tones. It's definitely a bold color that would look nice for either Fall or Winter. It doesn't take much for the color to show - in fact, it's the type of polish that you could get away with just applying one coat of! Although, I applied two just so my nail was completely covered. The dark tones give this polish a smokey/smouldery kind of look. Although it would most likely be a color best suited for colder weather, it would look nice for any time of year!
Campo San Moisé (High Gloss Creme) - Who doesn't love a bold red polish? I love them! In fact, they are always my go-to. This color of red definitely screams Winter to me. I noticed that when I applied the polish, it was somewhat of a Ruby red and gradually darkened over time. In fact, my picture is just a tad misleading because the color of the polish is actually darker - it's more of a Merlot red. I would have to say that Campo San Moisé is definitely my favorite of this collection. There's just something about a sexy red polish that gives me a boost of confidence!
Canal Grande (Shimmer) - When I applied this polish, I immediately thought of the sea. It's hard for me to actually find blue polishes that I like because I usually think they are too pale or too dark. This polish is mostly in the middle of that spectrum which I adore. It would make a lovely color for Summer or Spring! The sparkles in this nail polish are subtle which make for a nice added touch without being too overwhelming or shiny. Again, I found myself in a similar situation like with Santa Maria del Giglio, where you could get away with applying one coat but I applied two for full coverage.
Overall, all of these polishes are absolutely beautiful! They apply so evenly, have a stunning glossy look, dry quickly and the colors are so bold! I have not experienced any problems with chipping but I did apply a base coat & a top coat for finish. I highly recommend subscribing to SquareHue! Not only do they make beautiful nail polish, but they support a beautiful cause.
