Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your day! Today I will be reviewing the Nutwork Nutcracker from Luckies. I really like it and I'm giving it 4.5 stars!
Since the Holiday's are approaching, we usually buy a bag or two of nuts to place in a bowl to stick on our coffee tables, kitchen tables, counters, etc. The Nutwork Nutcracker is different from your ordinary hand held cracker. It's made of metal and designed to look like a G-Clamp. It's a little heavy but very durable.
I tested this Nutcracker on walnuts, hazelnuts and brazil nuts. I tested the cracker in two different ways. The first way was placing the nut standing up vertically and twisting down the top of the cracker/handle. This method worked but the nut didn't split as nicely as method two. The second test was placing the nut on its side horizontally and twisting the handle down along the seam of the nut. (I used a walnut for method two) It cracked perfectly down the middle and I was able to remove the nut without any little bits falling all over the place.
Overall, this nutcracker works very well. The reason I deducted half a star was because the cracker is very heavy and will not stand on it's own. The curved design on it doesn't allow it to stand. Also, the twisting of the handle requires a bit more effort compared to an average hand held nutcracker. But it still works very well and when used properly, you are left with a whole nut versus a bunch of little pieces.
If you would like to purchase this nutcracker, you can so here. Or if you would like to see all of the other products Luckies has to offer, you can visit their website here. Enjoy!
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
