Fox Chapel Publishing Coloring Books

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well today. Today I will be reviewing three different coloring books that were sent to me from Fox Chapel Publishing. I really love them! I've decided to give them 5 stars.

1) Notebook Doodles Flowers - This book is really nice. It's filled with tons of different flower designs ranging from simple to more intricate. In the beginning of the book, they show all of the pages pre-colored to give you an idea of how you can color the pages and what color combinations you can use. As you can see in the picture above, I used the suggestions and colored one of the pages how they had colored it. I think it turned out really nice! I didn't have the exact colors as they did but I had some that were fairly close. There's a total of 30 different designs and the pages are nice and thick! I always enjoy thick pages because it's harder for markers to bleed through. If you are going to use markers to color in this book, I would still suggest putting a magazine/piece of cardboard behind the page so that the ink won't bleed onto the other pages - if it bleeds at all.

2) Christmas Coloring Book - In this book there is a total of 32 coloring pages. Similar to the Notebook Doodles, this one also has suggestions in the beginning of how you can color the pages. It's filled with all types of designs ranging from Snowflakes, to Christmas Trees, to Gingerbread Houses, etc. It really captures the spirit of Christmas with something new and unique on every page. These pages are also very thick which makes coloring easier and nicer. I also enjoy how there are designs inside of designs such as lines, circles, hearts, etc. It leaves you with plenty to color and you could spend a good amount of time coloring a page which is great because it lasts longer. Lovely book!

3) Boho Paisley Coloring Book - This book is pretty self-explanatory...it's filled with paisley's! I've always loved paisley designs because they are so adorable. You can come up with an endless amount of coloring combinations and shading. There are 32 coloring pages and each one has it's own little twist. The pages are more intricate in this coloring book but the designs range from big to small and they take up the whole page. These pages are thick, just like the other two books so that's a thumb's up from me! This book even has butterfly's and flowers with the paisley's so you're not just coloring the same thing over and over again.

Overall, these books are amazing and I love them! In all three books, the back of each page has a quote on it - so it puts a smile on your face everytime you color! I thought that was a really nice touch. These books would be a perfect gift for any artist ranging from beginner to expert!
