The Konjac Sponge Co.

Hi lovelies! I hope you're all having a peachy day! About a week ago, I received a green clay, mineral rich, 100% natural vegetable fibre sponge for oily and combination skin from The Konjac Sponge Co. I loved this sponge so much - it's unlike any other facial product I've used before. I'm giving it 5 stars for sure!

Most of you are probably thinking, "Okay, so, what is it? What does it do?" Well, this sponge is very unique. It's made of Konjac, and I might be the odd one out but I had never heard of Konjac before in my life. Konjac is a perennial plant that derives from Asia. It's grown in high altitudes and is made from 97% water and is completely rich in minerals and is low in calories. It is pH neutral, meaning it makes your skin perfectly balanced.*

The main goal of the sponge is to essentially heal, revitalize, and care for your face. Here is a list of the benefits of The Konjac Sponge -

~ Cleanses and exfoliates the skin - you can even use it around your eyes!

~ It leaves your skin fresh, radiant and rejuvenated.

~ Refines pores and your skin is left feeling soft and smooth.

~ You can use this on it's own or with a little bit of cleanser - but it's cleansing enough to use without any cleanser.

After using this product for a week, I can tell you that it WORKS! You should never use the sponge when it's dry - but once you get it soaking wet, it's so incredibly soft! All you have to do is work it around in circles around your face - that's it! Then when your done you just get the sponge really wet again and squeeze it between your two palms to remove all the water from the sponge. (never twist or wring - that can cause damage to the sponge. Once I'm done using it, I like to rinse my face as well.) The blemishes and amount of acne on my face has reduced dramatically and it has made my face so soft! I think I found my Holy Grail of facial products, you guys! I recommend that you all get one - especially if you suffer from oily skin.
