Optimally Organic Coconut Oil

Good morning! I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your day. I recently recieved Coconut Oil for free from Optimally Organic in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. My opinion is my own and has not been influenced in any way. That being said, I have used Coconut Oil in the past but I've never used Raw, Organic, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil - and boy is there a difference!

I think I have found my new favorite product! First off, I must be niave because I was so in awe of the fact that Optimally Organic Coconut oil smelled like, in fact, coconuts! The smell was so strong, in a good way! I used some on my skin in place of lotion and my skin smelled like coconuts - it was lovely.

Second, I enjoyed how the texture was very soft and almost gritty, at first - similar to a real coconut. I could feel the grittiness when I scooped some up but once I started rubbing it into my skin, the texture turned very smooth. I enjoyed that immensely because of how natural it really is! It does not have a "processed" feel to it, like some other products can.

Lastly, it tastes like coconuts as well. I adore that because since there are so many health benefits to Coconut Oil, I like to take a spoonful or two and blend it in with my morning smoothies - I could actually taste a little bit of coconut when I did this - yum!

Overall, I think Optimally Organic Coconut Oil is an amazing product and I give them 5 stars! I will most definitely be purchasing from them in the future!
