Hey y'all! My first review! This review is about Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer. Now, I did go out and pay for this myself - I bought it at RiteAid for $20.49 which isn't too bad of a price considering the size of the Vaporizer. I recently became sick which is why I decided to go out and buy one. So far I am loving it! I appreciated how it came completely assembled so all I had to do was unravel the cord.
In order to use this, you have to fill water up to the water line inside of the machine. It takes about 10 minutes to start boiling and if after that time it still does not boil, you can add a pinch of salt - just a pinch! Too much will result in overboiling and damage to the machine. You can buy liquid vicks to add with the water, or you can use little vicks pads which you stick in the slots at the top of the machine. (you buy each of these seperatly but my Vaporizer came with two pads inside of the box)
I have been using it for about a half an hour so far and I am just loving it! I used the vapor pads and the smell is just lovely. I'm not completely sure how long the Vaporizer will stay on but I used quite a bit of water so I'm assuming a couple of hours. I believe it shuts off automatically when it runs out of water. I love how quiet it is so I can use it at night and not have to worry about noise keeping me awake. This would be a wonderful product to use in a child's room when they are sick - adults and parents too. It's definitely worth the buy and I highly recommend this product to anyone!
